At their Wall Street offices, I developed my taste for premium cigars. In those days, smoking in offices was legal. Associates in various Wall Street firms soon became aware of my exquisite selection of cigars and became my first customers. I vowed after my professional career was over to provide quality cigars to the public at reasonable prices. In 1992, I became a street vendor of cigars near the World Trade Center and developed a mail order business from passing customers.
